Role Description:

This position is accountable for assembling and leading a team to deliver technology solutions that align with business objectives. Key responsibilities encompass formulating a technology strategy, ensuring compliance with applicable standards, promoting design and engineering best practices, and advocating for modern Agile delivery methodologies. Expectations may include coaching, mentoring, providing constructive feedback, identifying emerging talent, fostering leadership skills, and managing stakeholder relationships.
  • Senior role contributing to the development of a comprehensive origination system for the Structured Products Platform.
  • The ideal candidate will be adept at driving design and architecture while mentoring junior developers and contributing hands-on.
  • From a project standpoint, the successful candidate will engage with senior business stakeholders and collaborate effectively with global tech leads to deliver an integrated platform.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
  • Developing a comprehensive understanding of the equity derivatives technology landscape, particularly the structured product stack.
  • Designing and leading hands-on development of innovative solutions to enhance the automation capabilities of the Structured Products system.
  • Contributing to platform design and architecture.
  • Engaging with senior business and platform partners.
  • Driving business growth by providing insights into the structured notes platform market and recent industry trends.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Building and managing teams by conducting financial analyses to inform workforce strategies and hiring practices, setting and tracking quality objectives, and training teams to meet performance goals.
  • Facilitating employee performance and career development through reviews, coaching, and development plans to enhance skills and competencies.
  • Overseeing solution delivery and application performance in production, ensuring compliance with risk, financial, and regulatory policies.
  • Managing relationships with business and technology partners while fostering collaboration within Communities of Practice.
  • Contributing to the technology strategy within their technical domain.
  • Creating an inclusive and healthy work environment and addressing organizational challenges.
  • Ensuring alignment of execution with product strategy through collaboration with product management and stakeholders.
