Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer


Yolk Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and versatile Maintenance Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of the company's machinery and equipment, working on a 4on4off shift pattern.

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the company's equipment is always running at peak efficiency. This will involve carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, diagnosing and repairing faults, and assisting with the installation of new machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on the company's machinery and equipment
  • Diagnosing and repairing faults on the company's machinery and equipment
  • Assisting with the installation of new machinery and equipment
  • Working closely with other members of the maintenance team to ensure that all work is completed on time and to a high standard
  • Keeping accurate records of all work carried out and parts used
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Strong mechanical and electrical skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible approach to work and a willingness to learn new skills
What We Offer:
  • A competitive salary of up to £47,000 (inclusive of shift allowance)
  • 20 shifts holidays (including bank holidays)
  • Pension with employees contributing up to 8% and the company will contribute 1.5 times the amount
  • Opportunity to work for a successful and growing company
  • 5% bonus (based on the basic salary)
