Key Responsibilities

  • As a vital member of the maternity team, you will implement and uphold Continuity of Care in accordance with national standards.
  • Collaborate closely with the continuity team to ensure comprehensive care for our service users.
  • Provide individualized and tailored midwifery care packages as an autonomous practitioner, utilizing your specialized knowledge to assess and determine the best course of action for your clients.
  • Deliver high-quality, evidence-based midwifery care and guidance throughout the antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal periods across various settings, including hospitals and community hubs.

Essential Qualifications

  • Completion of a midwifery program and registration with the NMC.
  • Ability to provide holistic midwifery care across various environments.
  • Strong documentation skills with meticulous attention to detail.

  • Proficient IT skills and familiarity with electronic data systems.
  • Understanding of professional midwifery standards and clinical governance.

Desirable Skills

Professional Development

  • Registered Midwife or final-year student midwife nearing completion of a Degree/Diploma in Midwifery.
