Vanta Staffing Limited is proud to partner with a leading food production company that has experienced remarkable growth in both wholesale and e-commerce sectors. They are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to support their ambitious expansion plans.
Key Responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer include:
- Conducting routine inspections of the entire facility, including equipment and production machinery within the food processing environment.
- Performing both reactive and scheduled maintenance on food processing equipment, refrigeration units, mixers, conveyor systems, and more.
- Leading, managing, and inspiring a team of multi-skilled engineers.
- Coordinating maintenance efforts to prioritize urgent repairs effectively.
- Ensuring the successful execution of planned maintenance activities.
- Contributing to the overall health and safety standards of the facility.
- Assisting with all installation projects related to the building's infrastructure.
- Providing recommendations for operational improvements.
- Monitoring, ordering, and managing inventory supplies.
- Ensuring compliance with all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) regarding health and safety.
- Typical working hours are Monday to Friday, Day Shifts from 6am to 3pm.

Essential Qualifications and Attributes:

- Experience in executing multi-skilled repairs in mechanical and/or electrical/electronic engineering environments.
- Relevant qualifications in mechanical, pneumatic, or electrical engineering.
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience working in manufacturing environments.
- Commitment to quality, safety, and maintaining a productive work environment.
- Proficient command of the English language.
