Job Summary

MLK Education Search is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Teacher of Mathematics to join our team at a specialist SEMH provision for 11-16 year olds. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality mathematics education to our students, promoting academic excellence and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teaching and Learning: Develop and implement engaging lesson plans, assessments, and evaluations to meet the needs of our students.
• Classroom Management: Create a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting respect, empathy, and social responsibility among students.
• Student Support: Provide individualized support and guidance to students with SEMH and additional needs, ensuring their academic and personal progress.
• Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with developments in mathematics education, incorporating best practices and innovative approaches into your teaching.

Requirements:

• Qualifications: Hold a QTS or QTLS qualification, with a strong background in mathematics education.
• Experience: Proven teaching and learning experience, with a focus on mathematics education.
• Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
