About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our relief team as a Relief Nursery Practitioner at Childbase Partnership. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to our children, while also supporting our staff during periods of leave or training.

As a Relief Nursery Practitioner, you will work with children aged 0-5 years across various age groups, providing a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes their physical, emotional, and cognitive development. You will be responsible for planning and implementing engaging activities, observing and recording children's progress, and maintaining a safe and healthy environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years
  • Support staff during periods of leave or training
  • Work with children across various age groups
  • Plan and implement engaging activities
  • Observe and record children's progress
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment
Requirements
  • Naturally nurturing, caring, and compassionate to others
  • Experience of caring for children under five, ideally in a nursery environment
  • Interest in child development and how children learn
  • Ability to be a positive role model to the children in their care
  • Enjoy contributing within a busy, team environment
