Terumo Aortic is seeking a skilled Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As an Engineering Shift Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine checks and maintenance on equipment and associated services to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Carry out repairs and modifications to equipment and services, utilizing your technical expertise and problem-solving skills.
  • Support and deliver projects to upgrade and install new equipment and services, working closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Utilize fault finding techniques and continuous improvement methodologies to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.
  • Analyze data, report findings, and recommend improvement actions to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collect and maintain documentation to meet safety, quality, and project compliance and legislation requirements.
  • Actively participate in performance management objectives and demonstrate Terumo Aortic values, including a commitment to excellence, innovation, and teamwork.
  • Assume other responsibilities from time to time to support objectives and personal career development.
  • Provide operational shift cover as needed.

Requirements:

  • Minimum HNC in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering discipline.
  • Proven post-qualification experience of working within a multi-disciplined maintenance environment is essential.
  • Experience of maintaining a wide range of process equipment and competent in the use of CMMS systems.
  • Knowledge of statistical tools and MS Office applications, with experience of working in a rotating shift team.
  • Previous experience in a medical device environment would be desirable.
