About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant in Diabetes and Endocrinology to join our team at Stockport NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, leading clinical services, and contributing to the development of our department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist care to patients with diabetes and endocrine disorders
  • Lead clinical services, including inpatient and outpatient care
  • Contribute to the development of our department, including research and education
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of our department's strategy
Person Specification

We are looking for a Consultant with:

  • Primary Medical Qualification (MBChB)
  • MRCP
  • CCST or equivalent in General Internal Medicine and Diabetes and Endocrinology
  • Senior Registrar/Specialty Trainee experience in General Internal Medicine & Diabetes & Endocrinology
  • A broad training experience in Diabetes and Endocrinology, with a positive attitude towards the specialty
  • Comprehensive patient management experience
  • Experience in and commitment to postgraduate and undergraduate education
