About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at National Star. As a nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our young adults with complex physical and learning disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver day-to-day nursing care to our students, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Work autonomously as a clinician, making decisions and taking charge of patient care.
  • Advise and guide our care teams on health-related matters, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our students.
  • Develop comprehensive health plans, taking into account the unique needs of each individual.
  • Provide emergency nursing care as required, responding quickly and effectively to situations.
  • Undertake medical procedures and protocols, ensuring the highest standards of care.
  • Help our students develop the skills and knowledge they need to manage their wellbeing, promoting independence and self-care.
  • Liaise with GPs, pharmacies, and consultants, ensuring seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Keep accurate and up-to-date records of patient care, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
