About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Distribution Centre Manager to join our team at Prodrive. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the distribution centre space and processes to ensure outstanding customer service while optimizing associated costs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inventory Management: Manage goods receiving processes to ensure parts are available for picking within agreed timescales.
  • Pick and Pack Operations: Manage picks to production and for customer demand in line with expected delivery dates.
  • Stock Accuracy: Ensure stock by location is accurate.
  • Returns and Replenishment: Manage returns in line with agreed timescales and replenish stock as needed.
  • Labour and Space Planning: Derive labour and space requirements to support inventory and activity levels predicted.
  • Team Management: Manage and coach a team to deliver high levels of performance and development for the individuals.
  • Health and Safety: Lead and drive a culture of safe working.

Performance Metrics

  • Inventory Record Accuracy (count accuracy) greater than 98%
  • OTIFNE from stock location to next customer (including picking accuracy)
  • OTIFNE from Prodrive to the customer (including transit damage)
  • HSE incidents, age without investigation or corrective action being put in place

About You

We are looking for an experienced Distribution Centre Manager with a strong background in logistics and inventory management. You will have excellent mathematical skills, commercial acumen, and strong management and influencing skills. An understanding of ERP systems and the ability to define and generate reports and metric dashboards is essential. IFS knowledge is particularly desirable.
