Role Summary
As the Finance Transaction Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our organization, leading a skilled team of six finance support professionals, including two team leaders reporting directly to you. We seek an individual who is dedicated to providing outstanding service to both internal and external stakeholders while fostering strong relationships throughout the organization.
Your responsibilities will encompass the entire financial lifecycle, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our financial systems while managing the daily operations of your team. Key tasks include accounts payable, income processing, direct debit management, treasury operations, payroll, and general ledger maintenance.
This position offers the chance to implement meaningful changes, with the authority to optimize processes, introduce new systems, and drive financial innovation.
As the daily supervisor of the finance support team, you will mentor, guide, and coordinate coverage across all roles, ensuring seamless operations.
Candidate Profile

- Minimum AAT qualification
- Experience in leading and managing teams
- At least 3 years of experience in a financial environment
- Knowledge of sales and purchase ledgers
- Understanding of payroll processes
- Strong communication skills
- Experience with system upgrades and administration
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
While not mandatory, familiarity with social housing will be considered an advantage.
