We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Trainee Driver. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of passengers.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service to passengers, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Operate trains safely and efficiently, adhering to strict procedures and protocols to ensure the well-being of passengers and crew.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery, resolving any issues that may arise during operations.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge, ensuring you remain up-to-date with the latest industry developments and best practices.
- Must be 21 years of age or older to be accepted on to the training course, as this is an industry requirement.
- Must live within 60 minutes travel time to the depot, without using public transport when it is not available, due to the safety responsibilities of the role.
- Ability to work shifts of varying start times, including weekends and nights shifts.
- Pass a full driver medical, including passing hearing, sight, and colour vision tests (using the Ishihara plates).
