Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Paraplanner to join our team. As a Paraplanner, you will play a crucial role in assisting our Private Client Financial Planners in providing exceptional financial planning services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of financial plans and reports to meet and exceed activity targets.
  • Develop and maintain technical and market awareness knowledge to provide effective advice to clients.
  • Ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards, including CPD requirements.
  • Negotiate and agree contract terms with clients on behalf of our Financial Planners.
  • Compile and complete new applications and schemes in accordance with internal and regulatory standards.
  • Record and maintain information on Intelligent Office to track work and manage internal records.
  • Filing and storing records and files in accordance with internal standards.
  • Develop and maintain report writing and communication skills to effectively communicate with clients.
  • Undertake project-based work as required.
Requirements
  • Experience in Financial Services, preferably in a financial planning, research, or technical capacity.
  • Diploma qualified, ideally on the path to becoming Chartered.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Technical competence and ability to apply internal and regulatory standards.
  • Adaptable and able to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in IT skills, including Microsoft Office and database management.
