We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to lead our Enterprise Bid Management and Business Development team. As the Head of Enterprise Bid Management and Business Development, you will be responsible for driving growth and excellence in our enterprise bid management processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for enterprise bid management and business development, aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
  • Lead a team of business development managers and enterprise bid teams, providing guidance and support to ensure successful bid submissions and growth initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, pricing, and general management, to drive margin and revenue growth.
  • Develop and maintain a central repository for bid content and plan team resources, ensuring efficient and effective bid management processes.
  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, developing and executing strategies to drive growth and expansion.
  • Manage performance metrics and ensure effective bid management, including win rates, operations, and bid standards.
  • Develop and nurture key team talent, providing coaching and mentoring to ensure the success of the team.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in enterprise bid management and business development, with a track record of leading change and motivating teams.
  • Strong commercial skills and ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders, including industry experts and customers.
  • Strategic and hands-on approach, excellent communication and strong analytical skills.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, matrixed organization and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Industry expertise in Enterprise Business Development/Bid Management, with a strong understanding of formal sales methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in a similar role, program management experience, and familiarity with formal sales methodologies.
  • Direct customer experience at all levels, with a strong understanding of customer needs and expectations.
