Job Summary

DSV is seeking a skilled Warehouse Operator to join our team in Frome. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and accurate receipt, storage, and dispatch of shipments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Unload and load vehicles in a safe and efficient manner
  • Receive and dispatch shipments using our warehouse management system
  • Ensure the quality of housekeeping is always maintained
  • Perform all other duties as reasonably required

Requirements

  • 2 x GCSEs (desirable but not essential)
  • Previous warehouse experience (desirable but not essential)
  • Ability to challenge health and safety failures
  • Ability to use own initiative and suggest improvements in procedures
  • Relevant transport qualifications (desirable but not essential)
  • Understanding of basic health and safety principles
  • Good understanding of English language (written and verbal)
  • Ability to plan and manage own time well
