Job SummaryThe ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, be self-motivated and team-oriented, with excellent time management skills. This role will involve testing all batches of rubber made in production, ensuring all batches are within spec limitations, and performing quality control checks.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough testing of all batches of rubber to ensure quality and consistency.
- Verify that all batches meet spec limitations and accurately record results of all production compound tests.
- Test all raw polymers and calender samples to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure a safe working space.
- Follow standard practices and procedures to promptly and accurately obtain quality and quantity production.
- Adhere to all plant safety and environmental policies.
**Minimum Qualifications**
- Ability to follow instructions written in standard English.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to bend, climb, squat, crawl, reach, and twist frequently.
- Ability to lift 20-30 lbs. frequently.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Lab experience preferred.
