Our Special Friends is a grassroots charity dedicated to helping people who love animals to keep pets in their life when circumstances put this valuable bond at risk. We promote, preserve, and provide animal companionship and champion animal companionship support services for those in need within the local community.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Fundraising Manager to develop our new fundraising strategy and build lasting, sustainable change for years to come. This is a permanent, full-time role that requires a full UK driving license as the role will involve travelling throughout local communities throughout Suffolk.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify new fundraising initiatives across multiple income streams, including Community, Corporate, Events and Individual donors.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy to achieve our goals.
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and partners at various levels.
  • Communicate persuasively with passion and integrity to engage and build relationships with stakeholders and partners.

About You

We are looking for someone with a strong record of fundraising in the charity sector, with proven results. You will need to bring experience across various fundraising disciplines, including community, corporate, events fundraising, individual giving, legacy or digital income strategies. You will also need excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the confidence to engage and build relationships with stakeholders and partners at various levels.

What We Offer
