As an Assistant Kitchen Manager, your primary focus will be on overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes are prepared and presented to the highest standards.
We are in search of a talented chef with experience in crafting A la Carte menus who aims for excellence.
In addition to your culinary responsibilities, you will assist in managing the kitchen staff and supporting various operational tasks. Reporting directly to the Head Chef, you will ensure that all food leaving the kitchen meets our high expectations and standards.
What We Provide
- Competitive salary of £35,000.00 based on experience
- Full-time employment (40 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Collaborating with the Head Chef to design new dishes and menus.
- Assisting in food procurement while managing costs.
- Preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes within your area of expertise.
- Supporting, mentoring, and training junior chefs in the kitchen.
- Ensuring that you and your team uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, food safety, and health regulations.
You will be part of a dynamic and hardworking team environment, where continuous learning and development are encouraged.
Essential Skills and Experience
- A genuine passion for the hospitality sector.
- Prior experience in prestigious establishments known for exceptional service.
- Strong business acumen.
- Experience in inventory management, ordering, and team leadership.
- Ability to perform under pressure while meeting deadlines and targets.
- Understanding of the hospitality and travel sectors.
- Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A collaborative team player with a flexible approach and experience in empowering team members to meet expectations.
- Results-driven with a strong desire to excel.
- Previous experience in hotel environments is preferred.
