Electrical Fitter Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Fitter to join our team at Bennett & Game Recruitment. The successful candidate will have a background in electrical fitting of motors and be based within commutable distance of East London.

Key Responsibilities:

* Working in a large workshop
* Carrying out repairs, dismantle and overhaul on electric motors
* Moving and repairing lift motors
* Testing motors, training provided for this required
* Using lathes, drilling and milling machines
* Fitters are required to travel to client sites as required. This will mainly be around London and the South East, with occasional trips to the Midlands and North. A van pool is provided for this.
* Carrying out servicing at client sites
* Fulfilling duties as instructed by workshop management

Requirements:

* A background in electrical motor repairs is essential
* CSCS Card beneficial
* 17th or 18th Edition is ideal
* Able to use hydraulic presses beneficial
* Able to measure to tolerance and size beneficial
* Based within commutable distance of East London
* Happy to take partake in 1 in 6 rota
