About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Communications Executive to join our People Team in Haywards Heath, West Sussex. This is a flexible role that allows you to work primarily from home, with just one or two days a week in the office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee external communication activities and internal communications for First Central Group.
  • Create captivating content across various channels to engage current and prospective colleagues, while supporting departmental objectives.
  • Manage social media, including paid social media advertising and campaigns.
  • Develop thought leadership content with senior leaders in the business.
  • Manage the internal newsletter to ensure cohesion between internal and external communications.
  • Support with PR activity, including community partnerships and company awards.
  • Track and reflect on analytics to pivot strategy in line with shifting engagement.
  • Build effective relationships with senior stakeholders, external suppliers/partners, working groups, and committees.
  • Adapt and evolve processes to reflect the culture, protect the company, and report back on all ROI.
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge and solid background in a communications role, notably with social media and PR experience.
  • Excellent creative written and spoken skills, with the ability to write and produce compelling and engaging content under pressure.
  • First-class drafting, proof-reading, and editing skills.
  • Ability to design and edit imagery and video.
  • Solid experience of co-ordinating projects.
  • Collaborative approach, working as one team with the wider internal communications and Culture team.
