EUC Desktop Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled EUC Desktop Support Engineer to join our team at Equiniti. As a key member of our End User Computing team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our end-users, ensuring their devices are running smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to and resolve incidents and service requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Prioritize, analyze, track, and escalate alerts in line with area protocols.
- Manage incidents and service requests for users, providing clear communication and updates throughout the process.
- Deploy desktop and laptop builds across the Group, ensuring seamless integration with our IT infrastructure.
- Work on project roll-outs, desk moves, and change requests as required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
- Advise 1st line agents, undertake first-time fixes for agreed tasks, including user access management.
- Escalate issues and incidents to the EUC Team Leader and ITSM, ensuring prompt resolution.
- Liaise with 3rd party suppliers for hardware/software issues, including call ownership and management.
- Apply ITIL methodology to deliver best practice in all areas, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Proven experience in Microsoft products, Windows OS, Office, Teams, Exchange, Active Directory, SCCM, SCSM, Intune, Mobile devices, and Cisco.
- Understanding of ITIL and its application in a service desk environment.
- Confident and capable in both a team environment and working on own initiative.
- Effective communication skills, working with both IT and non-IT colleagues.
- Focused on detail, but capable of being flexible when competing deadlines/projects.
- Confident and successful when planning and setting priorities for workloads.
- Basic understanding of JAMF and deploying corporate Mac OS images and software packages to Mac laptop and desktop clients.
- An interest or previous experience in a desktop engineer or senior ServiceDesk analyst would be an advantage.
