Export Control Manager Position

Permanent Role


Our client, a leading Aerospace and Defence organisation, is seeking an experienced Export Control Manager to lead international programmes within the business.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the international programmes, understanding key deliverables and export licensing requirements
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on export control-related queries, regulatory, and procedural requirements
  • Identify and address export control and licensing challenges, implementing solutions to ensure timely delivery and protect future business
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, supporting and leading engagements
  • Support corporate and external audits, ensuring closure of actions where necessary
  • Establish and maintain expertise in key export control regimes, sharing knowledge with the wider business and ensuring compliance with day-to-day activities
  • Develop and implement export control processes and procedures to ensure compliance with export control regulations
  • Collaborate with business teams to ensure export control requirements are considered and integrated into future IT systems, collaboration environments, and enterprise resource planning systems


Required Experience:
  • Experience working in UK and International Export Control regulatory environments
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and ability to interpret complex regulations
  • Current knowledge of International Export Control laws and regulations
  • Team leadership and people management experience
