This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Accounts Senior to join a forward-thinking financial services business. As an Accounts Senior at Continuum, your main role will be to support the Head of Accounts and the Finance Director.

Responsibilities:
  • Reconciling company accounts and paying weekly commissions
  • Varied administrative tasks and answering queries from staff and providers
  • Helping to document and maintain business finance procedures
  • Responsibility for day-to-day accounting activities, including processing transactions in Xero
  • Regular use of Excel for monitoring financial data
  • Reconciling key control accounts and bank reconciliations
  • Supporting the Head of Accounts and Managing Partner with annual budgets preparation

Xero experience is essential. Payroll experience is an advantage. AAT level 3 is preferable, although equivalent experience would be considered.

You must be a good communicator, face-to-face, via telephone, and online, always displaying a professional approach. You'll demonstrate the confidence to deal with Advisers. You'll be IT proficient, with the ability to pick up new systems quickly and already have a good knowledge of MS Office, Gmail, and Excel.
