Job Description

**About the Role**

Leadenhall Search & Selection is seeking a highly skilled Data Engineering Manager to lead our data team and drive business growth through data-driven insights.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • **Lead the Data Team**: Oversee the data team's objectives and key performance indicators, ensuring high-quality performance and efficient work scheduling.
  • **Design and Develop Data Pipelines**: Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Python, Azure Data Factory, and other relevant tools to integrate various data sources into a unified data lake or warehouse.
  • **Collaborate with Business Stakeholders**: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure data quality and consistency through cleansing, transformation, and enrichment.
  • **Monitor and Optimize Data Pipelines**: Continuously monitor and optimize data pipelines for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency to ensure seamless data flow.
  • **Implement Data Security Measures**: Develop and uphold data security and compliance measures to safeguard sensitive information and ensure data integrity.
  • **Troubleshoot Data-Related Issues**: Promptly diagnose and resolve data-related issues to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
  • **Develop Automation Scripts**: Develop automation scripts and workflows to streamline data engineering processes and improve efficiency.
  • **Coordinate with Third Parties**: Collaborate with third parties to provide necessary data to support project delivery, system maintenance, and change programs.
  • **Maintain Documentation**: Create and maintain clear documentation for data pipelines, schemas, and processes to ensure transparency and knowledge sharing.
  • **Create KPI Reports**: Develop and maintain KPI reports to monitor and track the data team's progress against data requirements and delivery goals.
