About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced NLP Scientist to join our team at Novo Nordisk A/S. As a key member of our Scientific Intelligence department, you will play a crucial role in driving research initiatives on cutting-edge NLP technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement NLP tools and models for relationship extraction, semantic similarities, summarization, and natural language inference.
  • Train and fine-tune neural network models for language understanding tasks and develop language models with multimodalities.
  • Evaluate the performance of neural models and validate the accuracy of extracted knowledge.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate NLP solutions into production.
  • Actively guide and coach NLP Scientists in professional development and project execution.
Requirements
  • PhD in Computer Science, AI, Computational Linguistics, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
  • Strong industry experience in NLP and Machine Learning, preferably in pharma or biotech.
  • Established experience with NLP and Machine Learning technologies, including multimodal and multilingual language models.
  • Profound knowledge of Deep Learning methods applied to NLP.
  • Demonstrated track record of developing and applying NLP solutions on large text datasets.

You will join our team of dedicated colleagues within the Novo Nordisk Scientific Intelligence department, which offers a centralized hub of external information, tools, and technologies to extract data and insights for users across Novo Nordisk worldwide.
