Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Civil Design Engineer to join our client's dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of innovative and sustainable infrastructure projects across the UK.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage project designs, ensuring adherence to timelines and budget constraints.
  • Effectively allocate resources to optimize task completion and team performance.
  • Collaborate closely with senior management on cross-disciplinary projects, fostering a cohesive and productive work environment.
  • Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Provide constructive feedback on design reports and technical documentation, contributing to the overall quality of deliverables.
  • Promote innovation and continuous improvement within the engineering team, encouraging a culture of excellence.
  • Adhere to strict Health & Safety protocols and risk management procedures, ensuring a safe and secure working environment for all.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in highway design and drainage projects, demonstrating a strong understanding of relevant engineering principles.
  • Proficiency in MicroDrainage software and other industry-standard design tools.
  • Demonstrated project management skills, with the ability to effectively plan, execute, and deliver complex projects on time and within budget.
  • In-depth technical expertise in highway design, including knowledge of DMRB technical documents and relevant construction practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Civils 3D CAD package and other relevant software applications.
