Residential Support Worker Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to support our young people in a residential home setting in Mid Devon. Our residents are profoundly deaf and require support in their daily lives.

All of our young adults use British Sign Language to communicate, and all communication is supported by AAC devices and visual imagery.

Desirable Skills

  • Some knowledge of British Sign Language (BSL)
  • Ability to work with AAC devices and visual imagery

About the Role

As a Residential Support Worker, you will work closely with other local organisations and services to provide a wide range of activities, hobbies, and educational input. You will also support the day-to-day running of the home and the residential daily needs of our young people.

  • DBS check and reference checking in line with government regulations and safer recruitment best practice
