Position: Expert Speech and Language Therapist (equivalent to band 7)

Service Overview
The facilities we operate include community residential homes that provide outcome-focused care for adults with learning disabilities and associated challenges, as well as services for individuals with mental health needs or personality disorders who are progressing through their rehabilitation journey.
Job Responsibilities
As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will deliver evidence-based SLT services tailored to the complex needs of our clients within a community rehabilitation and residential context. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, you will utilize your expertise to assess, advise, and implement interventions aimed at enhancing functional communication and promoting independence. You will also have the opportunity to train others, advocate for best practices, and maintain a supportive communication environment.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for a Speech and Language Therapist who possesses:
- Experience in mental health and/or inpatient settings
- Knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support with a focus on person-centered approaches
- Proven ability to work effectively within a team, emphasizing interdisciplinary collaboration
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Capacity to remain composed under pressure while being adaptable
- Innovative, enthusiastic, and motivated with a strong commitment to professional boundaries
