About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Support Worker to join our team at Enham Trust. As a Care Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centered care and support to residents, promoting their independence and dignity.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure residents receive a high standard of care.
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and medication management.
  • Support residents with their personal care needs, including toileting, feeding, and mobility.
  • Engage with residents in activities that promote their physical and mental well-being.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individual care plans.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Compassion, empathy, and patience when interacting with residents.
  • Previous experience in a caring environment, ideally in a care home setting.
  • Ability to pass a DBS check or be on the DBS update service.
