Asset Finance Credit Underwriter Job Description

**Role Summary**

We are seeking an experienced Asset Finance Credit Underwriter to join our client, a successful and well-established asset finance company. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for evaluating, analyzing, and approving credit proposals and revisions.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Evaluate and analyze credit proposals and revisions to ensure they meet the company's risk assessment and credit policies
* Maintain a consistent level of credit risk assessment and ensure all credit risk policies and procedures are adhered to
* Work closely with the sales team to ensure that credit proposals are aligned with the company's business objectives
* Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and internal teams

**Requirements**

* A background in Asset Finance, Commercial Banking, or business lending credit risk experience is essential
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate complex credit proposals
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
