Position Overview

Join us as a Manufacturing Process Engineer and play a pivotal role in enhancing production methodologies.

Working Schedule:

  • Monday to Thursday: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Friday: 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Role Objective:

The Manufacturing Process Engineer is responsible for facilitating production through engineering initiatives, which encompass manufacturing strategies, process analysis, design of fixtures and tools, implementation of lean methodologies, and fostering continuous enhancement.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support engineering initiatives across various production sectors
  • Design and refine processes, techniques, and systems from inception to execution
  • Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and procurement teams
  • Analyze client specifications, resolve engineering challenges, and ensure budget compliance
  • As a Manufacturing Process Engineer, you will interpret and create technical schematics
  • Provide engineering assistance to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure successful outcomes in production engineering or as part of a collaborative project team
  • Engage with departments to address production needs and deficiencies
  • Keep the production engineering supervisor informed on project developments
  • Acquaint yourself with organizational procedures and control systems
  • Perform additional tasks as required

Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of engineering manufacturing practices, including 5S and Kaizen methodologies
  • Mechanical engineering credentials with over 5 years of pertinent experience
  • Experience in designing production processes and machinery
  • Knowledge of composite materials, glass-reinforced products, and metal fabrication
  • Exceptional communication abilities, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration across teams and with production staff
  • Capability to operate under tight deadlines and monitor project advancement
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CAD design applications
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for both independent and team-oriented tasks
