RSK Group is seeking a Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer to join our dynamic design team in Glasgow.

This exciting opportunity offers the chance to contribute to a wide range of multi-disciplinary engineering projects within the water industry, encompassing mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and control (ICA), and civil disciplines.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the design team to produce detailed designs and associated deliverables for various engineering projects.
  • Ensure all design work adheres to RSK Group's quality assurance (QA) policies, procedures, and specifications.
  • Participate in site visits to conduct surveys, gather data, and contribute to the development of optimal design solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to maximize efficiency and identify new opportunities.
  • Work alongside other disciplines to manage detailed design tasks according to client specifications and approval stages.
  • Contribute technical expertise and guidance to projects, ensuring the production of high-quality design deliverables.
  • Proactively identify areas for improvement in processes and procedures to enhance efficiency.
  • Adhere to relevant British Standards and client specifications, including industry regulations such as WiMES, CDM 2015, DSEAR Regs, and Confined Space Regs where applicable.
Your Qualifications:

We are seeking a recent graduate with a degree in mechanical, electrical, or civil design. Exceptional interpersonal skills are essential for effective communication with diverse stakeholders. The ideal candidate possesses a keen eye for detail and a methodical approach to work.
