We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our team at The White House Surgery. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our pharmacy team.
Key Responsibilities- Work collaboratively with our Clinical Pharmacy team to improve patient outcomes and quality of life.
- Provide expert advice and support to patients and colleagues on medication-related matters.
- Conduct home visits and care home reviews to monitor patient medication and provide recommendations to clinicians.
- Process MHRA alerts and ensure they are documented and advice is provided to practices.
- Assist with the Care Home vaccination programme and administer vaccinations (if qualified to do so).
- Collaborate with the Medicines Management Team to improve prescribing and budget management.
- Complete the CPPE training pathway Primary care pharmacy education pathway, unless completed previously or equivalent course.
- GPhC Registered Pharmacy Technician.
- Minimum of one year working in a medicines orientated environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to promote best practice and work effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
- Flexibility to work outside of core office hours (rarely).
