AJ Chambers is seeking a skilled Paralegal to join the Residential Conveyancing department of a Leading Law Firm based in Chelmsford.

You will work alongside the Head of Department in a busy and varied role, contributing to a friendly team renowned for providing exceptional client care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and draft legal documents and correspondence, including bills of costs and completion statements, with precision and attention to detail.
  • Develop a working knowledge of the Land Registry Direct system application forms to ensure seamless conveyancing processes.
  • Accurately complete Local Authority, Chancel, and other relevant pre-exchange searches to progress transactions efficiently.
  • Provide administrative and clerical support on conveyancing transactions, ensuring all documents and files are up-to-date and compliant with legal requirements.
  • Assist other fee earners as needed, maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Respond to client enquiries, including telephone calls, with a high level of professionalism and expertise.
