Position: Interim Childcare Law Specialist

Location: Flexible Remote Work with occasional Court attendance

Rate: Up to £60 per hour Umbrella

Venn Group is collaborating with a reputable Local Authority seeking an experienced Interim Childcare Law Specialist to enhance their legal team. This role is designed for a full-time commitment and is expected to last for an initial period, with the possibility of extension.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing a diverse and demanding caseload of Childcare matters, including all pre-proceedings.
  • Providing expert legal advice to client departments on intricate issues related to Childcare Law.
  • Delivering Public Law guidance in Childcare and managing all facets of Care Proceedings.
  • Representing clients in court and tribunal settings, undertaking advocacy as necessary, and engaging in negotiations with third parties relevant to the legal practice.

The ideal candidate will possess recent experience in Public Childcare Law, preferably within a Local Government context, although candidates from Private Practice backgrounds may also be considered.
