Job Summary:
Cloudious LLC is seeking a skilled Hardware Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing computer hardware and related equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze technical information to determine design specifications, including computer hardware and peripheral equipment modifications.
- Assemble and modify existing equipment to meet special needs, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company requirements.
- Design, build, and test product prototypes using working models or theoretical models constructed with computer simulation.
- Evaluate factors such as reporting formats, cost constraints, and security restrictions to determine hardware configuration.
- Monitor equipment functioning and make necessary modifications to ensure system operation in conformance with specifications.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in hardware design and development.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, including circuit boards, processors, chips, and electronic equipment.
- Proficiency in design software and tools, including computer-aided design (CAD) and simulation software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with embedded software development.
- Knowledge of Python scripting and programming languages.
- Understanding of transmission, broadcasting, switching, control, and operation of telecommunications systems.
- Basic knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
