We are seeking an experienced Night Operations Manager to join our team at Next Distribution. As a key member of our Regional Service Centre, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and transport functions.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Regional Service Centre in achieving site objectives in terms of safety, service, cost, and productivity.
- Manage Team Managers and Colleagues to ensure effective operation of the warehouse and transport functions.
- Maintain company operating standards, Health and Safety, Compliance, and Engagement.
- Drive efficiencies and integrate operations to achieve greatest performance in terms of productivity and service at least cost.
- Manage the RSC Operation whilst on shift across both Transport and Warehouse as the manager in charge.
We are looking for an experienced senior manager with a strong background in warehousing or logistics. You will have a proven track record of driving operational excellence and leading high-performing teams. You will be confident in your ability to make quick operational decisions and use your initiative to drive continuous improvements.
You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work closely with the Senior Management Team and Trade Unions. You will be passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and driving business results.
