Job Title: Senior Research Scientist

We are seeking an experienced Senior Research Scientist to lead the delivery of key technology projects within our GEiGS team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and analyzing experiments to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Research Scientist for GEiGS projects, including laboratory-based work and people management.
  • Plan, execute, analyze, and report on experiments to the highest standards.
  • Manage external collaborative projects, working to a defined scientific plan and facilitating successful outcomes.
  • Manage projects with service providers, focusing on cloning, plant transformation, and bioassays.
  • Work closely with our bioinformatics team to analyze RNA and siRNA sequencing data.
  • Develop new research projects, particularly novel bioassays to demonstrate our technology in different crop/pest systems.
Requirements:
  • PhD in a relevant field with postdoc/industry experience.
  • BSc/MSc in a relevant field with a strong record of delivery within the biotechnology industry.
