Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Defendant EL/PL Solicitor to join our team at Douglas Scott Legal Recruitment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing a quality caseload of Defendant EL/PL matters from start to completion, both pre and post-litigated.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Defending EL/PL claims for local authorities, police forces, fire authorities, and NHS Trusts
  • Liaising with clients, opponents, court, witnesses, and undertaking liability investigations
  • Managing day-to-day running of cases, including client communication and case strategy
Requirements:
  • Proven EL/PL litigation experience
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
