We are seeking an experienced Financial Reporting Manager to lead a team of accounting professionals within our dynamic finance department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the month-end accounting close process, ensuring all entries are posted timely and in line with accounting policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading a small team (3) responsible for month-end accounting close process, ensuring all entries are posted timely and in line with accounting policies.
  • Responsible for preparing monthly consolidated management accounts pack for the Board, providing comprehensive commentary on variances between actual costs and budget.
  • Review key risk balance sheet accounts, including accruals, prepayments, deferred revenue, bank loan interests.
  • Business partnering with other departments, conducting monthly meetings to discuss actual spending and providing financial insights to support business decision making.
  • Preparation of annual financial statements for the Group, including all statutory disclosures in accordance with accounting policies (IFRS & FRS102).
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in financial reporting and analysis, with a strong understanding of accounting policies and procedures.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team of accounting professionals.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex financial issues.
  • Proficient in financial software and systems, with experience in financial reporting and analysis tools.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decision making.
