Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join our team at Investigo. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery and performance of our Wide and Local Area Network from its delivery partners and individual networks across our estate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Network Operations: Ensure effective operation of the IT network, including WAN, LAN, Wireless WAN, Internet and Cloud Service Access, Data Centre Connectivity, and Secure Wi-Fi.
  • Network Security: Ensure all relevant network hardware, software/firmware is within supported life. Work with vendors to obtain, schedule and implement updates.
  • Network Management: Deliver ongoing operational business requirements in the following areas:
    • Day to day operational performance of the network to agreed SLAs and KPIs.
    • Changes to the network to meet ongoing business demands.
    • Delivering continuous service improvement.
    • Emergency response to critical incidents.
Requirements
  • Technical Experience: Strong experience in Cisco Meraki, Firewalls - Fortinet, LAN, WAN, and WLAN.
  • Network Security: Experience of running network security and managing a cellular Wireless WAN.
  • Network Management: Experience supporting networks for a large multi-site organisation and working with third party providers of network services.
  • Qualifications: CCNA, CCNP (desirable).
