About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Campaigns and Coalition Engagement Manager to join our team at The Together Initiative. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality mobilisation and narrative campaigns that bring communities together and counter social divisions.

Your primary focus will be on building and supporting mobilisation and narrative-focused campaigns for /together, including The Big Help Out 2025 and /together's ongoing cohesion-focused campaigns. This will involve building strategy, onboarding and managing senior partnerships, building press releases, and working with our broadcast media partners to deliver impactful campaigns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver high-quality mobilisation and narrative campaigns that bring communities together and counter social divisions.
  • Build and manage senior relationships with our coalition partners, working closely with them to understand their sector needs and how we can collaborate on campaigns.
  • Take leadership with partners, guiding them through the campaign process, advising on best practice.
  • Build messaging and resources to support coalition partners to participate effectively in our campaigns.
  • Build media launches with our partners and media partners to get our campaigns out to the UK public.
  • Lead sector-specific 'working groups' with senior partners in various sectors, requiring strategic leadership and excellent communication.
Requirements
  • Experience leading impactful campaigns.
  • Extensive experience working with both senior and junior external stakeholders, and the ability to adapt your working style to best build working relationships.
  • Good project management skills, and ability to work with internal and external stakeholders as well as agencies to deliver a campaign on time and within budget.
  • Ability to work flexibility within a changing environment, with a changing workload and often to short-deadlines.
  • Experience working in broadcast media environments.
  • Excellent communication and copywriting skills with strong ability to devise and create engaging content for diverse audiences.
  • Experience managing relationships with groups of partners/stakeholders.
  • Strong political instincts and the ability to navigate sensitive issues with skill and empathy.
