Senior Electronics Engineer - Cambridge - Hybrid

About the Role

This role fits within the Electronics - New Product Development team. Key deliverables include interaction in the product development team to design, test, and deliver production-ready electronics and documentation. In-office working is preferred, but hybrid work is accepted with a commitment to work in the office an agreed number of days per week.

About You

  • Analogue interfacing and sensing
  • Testing, fault finding, and proving of designs
  • Ability to code scripts as necessary for testing (Python is on the rise)
  • An understanding of the product development process to meet customer needs
  • Ability to deliver high-quality documented designs
  • Co-operative working, willingness to accept and take part in peer reviews to maintain quality
  • Lead electronics engineer responsible for new product delivery
  • Line management of engineers
  • Working towards principal engineer with cross-function working
  • Responsible for electronics engineering of a specific group or product range
