- Maintain accurate records as required by the organization and regulatory bodies.
- A minimum of one year of experience in elderly care settings, including nursing homes, hospitals, or community care. We also welcome applications from student nurses.
- Consideration may be given to candidates without experience who demonstrate a strong desire to work in the care sector, depending on the current skill mix within the home.
- For Principal Carer positions, an SVQ 3 qualification and team leadership experience in a care environment are essential.
- Experience working with elderly individuals and knowledge of dementia care.
- Strong time management and workload prioritization skills.
- Ability to effectively problem-solve and manage diverse situations in a nursing home setting.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, particularly in report writing.
- Capability to handle various issues and respond appropriately.
