A quality-led house builder is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team in Lichfield. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for the financial performance of live house building projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Project cost control, including site budgets, value engineering, and monitoring actual costs.
  2. Implement value engineering solutions to optimize profit and efficiency for the business.
  3. Attend project team meetings to share site budgets and cost variances.
  4. Manage sub-contractor enquiries, analysis, and orders, including roads, sewers, and groundworks.
  5. Prepare labour-only estimates and sub-contractor valuations, including progress, site measurements, variations, retentions, and contra charges.
  6. Handle customer variations, including site-specific pricing, one-off quotations, and sub-contractor orders.
  7. Report on weekly sales completions.
