Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physiotherapist/Occupational Therapist to take on the role of Team Leader for our Orthopaedic Therapy Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a dynamic team of therapists and therapy assistants across two sites, Hinchingbrooke Hospital and Peterborough City Hospital.

Main Responsibilities
  • Operational management of the Orthopaedic Therapy Team
  • Supervision and management of staff
  • Development of staff and sharing knowledge
  • Assessment and treatment of complex caseloads
  • Contribution to service development, audit, and research
About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a forward-thinking therapist to develop and improve the service further. The successful candidate will work alongside our Service Lead, current Team Lead, and Clinical Specialists, and will be expected to role model excellent leadership, communication, and resilience skills.

Requirements
  • Degree/Diploma in Physiotherapy/Occupational Therapy
  • HCPC Registered
  • Evidence of CPD (portfolio)
  • Evidence of postgraduate training/qualification relevant to clinical area - Orthopaedics
  • NHS experience working at senior level
  • Clinical experience within trauma and orthopaedics
  • Experience within acute inpatient hospital environment
  • Multi-Disciplinary working
