Food Technology Educator

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Food Technology Teacher to join our team at a reputable secondary school in Plymouth. As a Food Technology Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons to students aged 11-18, covering topics such as food science, nutrition, and cooking techniques.

This is a full-time position, and you will be expected to work closely with the school's administration and department to ensure the smooth delivery of lessons. Your duties will include:

• Planning and delivering lessons that cater to the needs of students with varying abilities and learning styles
• Assisting with lesson preparation and departmental tasks
• Providing feedback and guidance to students to help them achieve their full potential
• Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum plans

To be considered for this role, you will need:

• A PGCE with QTS or equivalent
• The right to work in the UK
• An Enhanced DBS on the update service
• Two professional references
• Previous experience teaching in a UK school
• Up-to-date safeguarding and prevent awareness training
• Recent experience teaching Food Technology in the UK (desirable)
