Plumbing and Heating Sales Role

This position plays a key role in the sale of our full range of plumbing and heating products, taking a proactive approach to drive sales growth.

The overall aim is to establish and grow our customer base, maximize sales and profit, and make MKM Building Supplies the preferred choice for all plumbing and heating supplies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Grow the customer base through proactive sales efforts
  • Provide quotations for customers and manage stock levels for the category
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, both face-to-face and over the phone
  • Offer excellent customer service and provide sound product advice
  • Take a proactive approach to plumbing and heating sales, using every opportunity to make or increase a sale

Requirements:

  • Sound knowledge of plumbing and heating products
  • Previous sales experience in a plumbing and heating merchant environment
  • Confidence, excellent product knowledge, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Computer literacy
