Job Title: Personal Assistant for a Lady

We are seeking a reliable and caring individual to assist with various household tasks in our home.

Job Description:
  • Planning and preparing meals.
  • Assisting with laundry tasks as needed.
  • General cleaning tasks.
  • Occasional outings to the park with our grandson for some outdoor fun.
  • Making up beds in the morning.
  • Companionship to improve general wellbeing.
Person Specification:
  • A friendly demeanour and a love for children are essential for this role.
  • We have three adorable Chihuahuas, so you must be comfortable around dogs.
  • Full UK driving license holder with appropriate business insurance cover.
  • The ideal candidate would require a calming, reassuring, caring and patient nature.
  • The person we employ must have an understanding of the need for confidentiality in all areas of work including total respect for our privacy.
Terms and Conditions:
  • The rate of pay for this position is £12.00 per hour.
  • Hours and times of work: 04 Hours per week, to be discussed further at interview.
  • The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work we would normally expect to be done during 5.6 consecutive weeks.
  • Free Care Skills training is provided to employed staff.
  • The post is subject to a satisfactory enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.
  • Satisfactory references from two referees, one of whom must be your current or last employer.
  • Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 3 months.
