About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Disability Assessor to join our team at Everpool Recruitment. As a Disability Assessor, you will play a critical role in evaluating how health conditions impact daily living and work activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of claimants' health conditions and daily challenges.
  • Review medical evidence, including GP reports and specialist opinions, to develop a well-rounded understanding of each claimant's health.
  • Prepare objective reports that meet Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) guidelines and support the decision-making process for disability benefits.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience in a relevant field (e.g., nursing, occupational therapy, or physiotherapy).
  • Active registration with the relevant professional body (e.g., NMC or HCPC).
  • Strong communication, typing, and IT skills.
  • Ability to engage with claimants with empathy and professionalism.
